Accredited Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Hello and thank you for visiting All Ears Counselling and CBT. I am a qualified Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a deep rooted passion and desire to help others lead a happy and fulfilled life I believe we all deserve that. I have extensive experience in treating a wide range of conditions including Anxiety; Depression; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Eating Disorders and Bereavement. I also have experience supporting people to develop and strengthen their social and interpersonal skills such as, self-esteem, confidence and assertiveness which can often lead to new opportunities and life choices. throughout my time as a practitioner, I have worked with both individuals and Groups supporting them through the therapeutic process. For me, there is nothing more satisfying than helping to facilitate the progress of an individual and watching them rise and flourish from what can sometimes be a very dark place. My overall ethos is to promote better mental health for all, this involves a process of change and growth through the use of evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
I provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your distress, any challenges that you may face or have experienced in your past. You will hopefully finish therapy confidently equipped with the tools to help you lead the life you want and deserve. In our lives we often focus on supporting others, making sure everyone else is OK and we can sometimes neglect ourselves and our own wellbeing. Therapy is about you and your journey, a space to reflect and think about what you want from life.
I am a registered and accredited member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their code of ethics accordingly .
As with all therapists, I engage in monthly supervision to help strengthen and regulate my practice. I am fully insured to practice and all qualifications, insurances and certificates are available to view upon request.
I am registered with The Counselling Directory and my profile can be viewed here:

"I will never forget your patience and understanding you gave to me and not forgetting the courage to keep going , I genuinely mean this Jade, without your help and encouraging me to talk about everything I wouldn't have been able to go back to work or do anything really, I will be forever grateful."
"Jade, this has been so helpful to me. CBT has enabled me to take back control of my life and made me realise change is my responsibility and only I can make the changes. I have started to view things so much more positively and the impact this has had on my mood swings is incredible. I feel proud of myself for the first time in my life. Thank you."
"I don't quite know how you done it, but you saved my life. I never saw a way out of the hole I was in, it was hard and emotional and at times I wanted to give up but you reassured me and motivated me to keep going I am forever thankful that you did. My life has changed dramatically for the better. I actually like it now and when I think of the future I feel happy and excited rather than sadness and dread"
"I'd like to say CBT counselling enabled me to speak about my anxiety and recognise I need to take control of it. Anxiety is part of my life, which I think may stem back to when my dad was murdered when I was nearly 5 years of age. Which you (Jade) did through actively listening to me, feeding back to me on areas of my life I did not fully recognise I let anxiety run away with me, leading to negative outcome for myself. Also the homework (thought records, actively breathing, recognise the triggers, reading 'Starry, starry night'), I regularly need to do on a daily basis, to enable me to hold the 'reigns of anxiety'at work place. Mindfulness techniques I further apply."
"I felt comfortable straight away with Jade. I felt she structured the sessions with patience and understanding which allowed me to work through my issues productively and at a comfortable pace. I particularly liked how any decisions or changes to be made were directed back to me when I was ready to make them"
"it made such a difference speaking to you, hopefully now I can make a difference for me"
Jade has extensive experience working with various Employee Assistance Programmes, offering psychological support that can often be useful in helping employees feel able to return to work. Enquiries are welcome from organisations to discuss referrals accordingly.
